Winter hikes with snowshoes. A special adventure

Woods covered with snow, mysterious traces and snow-covered huts: you will encounter all of these things during your snowshoeing trip in the skiing area Gitschberg Jochtal. Snowshoeing is a very easy sport which guarantees the most beautiful views.

We recommend trying the climb to the Astjoch. To do so drive to the parking Zumis on the alpe di Rodengo, follow the forest road to the Astjoch at 2164 m height and enjoy the wonderful view over the valley of Pusteria and the Dolomites. On your way you will find many huts where you can enjoy South Tyrolean specialties.
