Pension Sonnenhof in Maranza

The prices are for a stay of at least 7 days per person and night with half board in a double room with 4-course gourmet half board, with a rich, colorful salad and breakfast buffet, for a minimum stay of 7 nights.

For stays of less than 7 days, a surcharge will be applied upon request.

• For rooms with breakfast, €5.00 per person per day will be deducted

A local tourist tax of €2.00 per person per night will be charged for all guests aged 14 and older. This tax is not included in the total price of your stay and can only be paid in cash on-site.

The kids’ discounts apply when children stay in an extra bed in a double room together with two full-paying adults and are only granted for a minimum stay of 3 days.
If you travel with children and would like to book a family room or suite the discounts will be reduced (upon request)!

• 0 – 5.99 years 50% – 30% depending on the room category
• 6 – 11.99 years 30% – 15% depending on the room category
• 12 – 14.99 years 15% – 10% depending on the room category

We ask all dog & cat owners for their understanding that pets are allowed only upon request and that they must bring their own basket or blanket. Pets are not allowed in the dining room.

The surcharge is € 8,00-15,00 per day, not including food.

In summer

The price includes all duties and taxes, a reduced daily admission (€ 3,00 instead €12,00 per person and day) to the indoor pool “Alpinpool”, 25% discount in the wellness area “Alpinpool”, and the 17 free services of the “Almencard 2014″: (Free use of 3 cable cars, panoramic tours, farm visits, bees excursions, mountain tours, sunrise walks, as well as cultural and historical guided tours, Nordic Walking tours, guided mountain bike tours and many discounts in shops, sports facilities and museums.

For kids there is Krixly Kraxly, Weekly Milk Stories – everything about the farm, jousting and carriage rides.)

The Gitschberg-Val Giovo Almencard. Free use of trains and buses throughout South Tyrol. Ski safari with shuttle to Plan de Corones and the Three Peaks free of charge.
The price includes all fees and taxes and the daily reduced entry of € 3 instead of € 9 to the indoor swimming pool ‘Alpinpool’ and 25% discount for the ‘Alpinpool’ wellness area (closed on Thursdays), as well as the daily free use of our new in-house sauna oasis with 4 saunas and an alpine pine and Maranza larch chill room. The single room supplement is between € 10 and € 80 per night, depending on the season.

E-Station: Our guests with electric cars or hybrid cars can now use – upon previous request – the “in-house electric charging station” in our garage (per KW you pay € 0.60). And in the summer, our “E-Bike Rental” for two persons is waiting for you.

Check-in is possible from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Arriving after 6.00 pm is only possible by appointment. If – due to a hindrance – you don’t manage arriving before 6.00 pm, please inform us by phone (0039 0472 520 164).

On departure day, we kindly ask you to leave your room by 10.00 am.

Your holiday at the Pension Sonnenhof is booked for you after we receive a written confirmation and the payment of a deposit of € 250 or € 500 (in high season) per room . Arrival day is Saturday or Sunday (if not otherwise arranged).

For bookings of 1-2 nights, we charge 100% of the stay upon reservation.

IMPORTANT INFO for WINTER BOOKINGS
For winter bookings we ask for the full payment (excluding local tax) 4 weeks before arrival. That leaves you with plenty of time to take out the important travel cancellation insurance. In the event of illness or accident shortly before or during your vacation you will receive all the money back from the insurance company.

The insurance is inexpensive: for example, for a booking worth

• € 1,000 the insurance amounts to € 56
• € 1,500 the insurance amounts to € 88
• € 2,000 the insurance amounts to € 113
• € 2,500 the insurance amounts to € 142
• € 3,000 the insurance amounts to € 172

and you are perfectly protected and in case of an emergency all the money will be returned to your account.

Travel cancellation insurance

The deposits are not reimbursed BUT do not lose their validity in case of cancellations 60 days before arrival. Cancellation is possible up to 60 days before departure without penalty. After that we charge 70% of the booked stay and the deposit will be deducted from the 70% of the full price. For cancellations or no-shows within 14 days, we charge 95% of the booked stay. In case of late arrival or early departure (for any reason) we will charge 100% of the booked stay. For cancellations made more than 60 days before the reservation, the deposit will NOT be refunded, but it will not expire either. Instead, we will issue a voucher that can be redeemed within 1 year (transferable). For cancellations made less than 60 days in advance, the deposit will be deducted from the cancellation fee. Should you insist on a refund of your deposit, € 100 will be deducted from the deposit to cover our tax, expenses, and work costs. However, you may also give the amount of the deposit to your family or friends, so you have no expenses and at the same time a great gift. By paying the deposit and receiving our booking confirmation you automatically agree to our cancellation policy! We strongly recommend that all guests take out our cost-effective travel cancellation insurance and cancellation protection – something can always happen that you have never experienced before and make it impossible for you to start your vacation. For bookings, Covid 19 is also included in the INSURANCE COVER. Even if family members fall ill with Covid 19 and you are all placed in quarantine, you are covered by our insurance. To definitively confirm your booking, we ask you to pay a deposit of €250 within 48 hours of making your reservation. As an example, I am sending you our cancellation policy. You are welcome to use these, but of course also your existing cancellation conditions from your website.

• Cancellation up to 60 days before arrival: free of charge
• Cancellation from 60 to 30 days before arrival: 100 € processing fee
• Cancellation from 30 to 3 days before arrival: 70% cancellation fee on the total amount of your stay
• Cancellation 2 days before arrival, late arrival, or early departure: 100% of the total amount of your stay
• In case of no-show: 100% of the total amount of your stay

Having to cancel a booked trip is already difficult enough. To avoid financial losses in the first place, you should take precautions in good time. We therefore recommend the Travel Cancellation Protection “Hotel Storno Plus” in cooperation with Europäische Reiseversicherung AG. As a special service, we offer you the option of paying the deposit together with the cancellation insurance premium online easily and securely.
