With the Brixen Südtirol Guest Pass, you can use all public transportation throughout South Tyrol free of charge and, during selected periods, enjoy free round trips on the Gitschberg, Jochtal, and Plose cable cars. In addition, you benefit from included admissions and a variety of experiences that make your stay even more diverse.

Whether it’s free mobility from A to B, a varied activity program, or exciting cultural experiences: with just one pass, you can shape your holiday flexibly and according to your wishes.
During selected periods, you can enjoy free round trips on the cable cars (GITSCHBERG, JOCHTAL and PLOSE) as well as free bus rides to the Rodeneck-Luson Alpine pasture. The Guest Pass offers even more advantages, including free use of all regional buses and trains throughout South Tyrol. Bad weather doesn’t stand a chance! Numerous included services and a diverse weekly program ensure unforgettable hiking, cultural, and family experiences.
Traveling by train is also particularly convenient. Several connections run daily from Munich to South Tyrol. Upon request, we are happy to organize a transfer from Mühlbach or Franzensfeste directly to your accommodation.
Arriving by train from Germany
We recommend that you arrive by train, as our hotel is perfectly located, and you only have to pay for the train ride to Brennero. From there, your journey to Fortezza (Franzensfeste), then to Rio di Pusteria and finally by cable car to Maranza is free of charge. We will send you your Brixen Südtirol Guest Pass either by post or digitally – this way, you may enjoy your journey in a relaxed way.

Terms of Use Digital Guest Card
Upon completion of the accommodation contract, the Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass (consequently Guest Pass) will be issued to the guest, which according to the decision of the South Tyrolean regional government No. 732/2022, is valid for the entire duration of their stay as well as from 0:00 on the day of arrival unto 24:00 on the day of departure.
The Guest Pass includes the use of all public transport within the “südtirolmobil” network area as well as additional services, which vary depending on the tourism organization. Detailed information can be found at: suedtirol-guestpass.info
The sole entity carrying the Guest Pass in South Tyrol is the Mobilitätskonsortium, appointed as the unified coordination point in accordance with the above decision of the South Tyrolean regional government by the Provincial Association of Tourism Organizations of South Tyrol on November 16, 2022.The details of the additional services associated with the Guest Pass and the conditions of use of the Guest Pass are communicated by the third party responsible for issuing and managing the Guest Pass.
